Thomas McManus
Thomas McManus joined LFM Wealth Management in October 2021 as a client analyst. He transitioned from a career in forestry where he served as an AmeriCorps member and later became a ranger with the National Park Service. Thom has over five years’ experience in risk management, employee onboarding, data analysis, and experiential education from his time in the forestry and outdoor recreation industries. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Design and a minor in Horticulture from North Carolina State University. He is a NOLS Wilderness Education Alumni having completed a semester of study in risk management, leadership, and Leave No Trace® outdoor ethics. Thomas is currently taking courses to progress through the CFERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification process.
Thomas has a passion for native plants and the care of home landscapes. He is an avid gardener and has led several plant-based informative hikes and discussions. In Tucson, AZ he volunteered with the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum to remove non-native invasive plant species from the Tucson Mountain Range.
